Too Tired

Have you ever feel so tired? Physically and mentally tired and you just want to sink your head under the pillow and die?

I do. Many times before.. Most of the time.

I feel extremely tired when there’re too many assignments, test, presentations, all were almost reaching deadline, then came the demanding friends who seek attention every second, and at the same time, too many programs to attend, too many relationships to be taken care of, all the problems happening near and far, in the country, in the world.. to think of. I want to do everything and I really want to please everybody,  but I became very tired. Exhausted. I don’t have enough time. I tried to be sincere, patient… smile.. smile.. But suddenly.. I just went off the rails. POOF!

…Dead? phewh. Alhamdulillah, not yet.

Something’s missing here. Yeah, I just forgot.  I am a human. A human who has a creator.   A human who is equipped with mind and body. And I always forgot, this body.. and mind… are not mine. Never were. This whole body, this whole ME, emotions, senses.. All belong to the One, The Creator, The One who brings everything from non-existence to existence!

Belong to The Mighty, The Strong, The Defeater who is not defeated.

The Maintainer, The Guardian, The Feeder, The Sustainer, The One who has the Power!

Somebody reminded me of this, “you worship Allah everyday, you agree that He is The Provider, but to whom do you ask for energy? From the 12 hours sleep?”

How brainless I was. I could always ask!

No wonder I always feel tired. Because I didn’t ask the Creator of this body, which is belong to Him, specifically to give me extra strength. Instead, everytime I had problems, I keep on complaining, not enough rest, and not enough time. I was scared, that I couldn’t make, I couldn’t fix. But why? He has promised, in the Quran,

Lets read it. slowly

And for those who fear Allah, He PREPARES A WAY OUT.

And He provides for him from where he does not reckon.

And whoever puts trust in Allah, so Allah is sufficient for him.

Surely Allah will accomplish His purpose.

And Allah has set a measure for all things

(surah at-talaq, 2-3)

Whenever tired, ask! He is the One who has the Power. Of course, He will provide the strength. He is Al-Razzaq, The Provider, remember? Do you have any idea how on earth that the Prophet (saw) managed to work hard during the day, but during the night he woke up all night praying? From where did all the energy come from? How did the muslimeen fight during the war of Badar, in the fasting month?

That’s it! All I need is to ask. For forgiveness, for guidance, for strength, for peace, for happiness, for love, for confidence, for a sincere heart, for everything! Wherever I go, whatever I do, I need to ask, and do my best. InshaAllah.. He is always there to help me.

And when My slaves ask you concerning Me, then I am indeed NEAR. I RESPOND to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me. So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright” (al-baqarah : 186)

He is indeed al-Wahhab, the Giver of All. Let’s be honest. We are talking about al-Mujeeb, the Responder to Prayer. Those are amongst the Names of Allah! Allah gives and He answers! No doubt.

Suddenly i feel so strong! ^_^

So remember, when you ask, Ask Allah :)

HasbiyAllahu Laailaha illa Huwa, 'alaiHi tawakkaltu, waHuwa Rabbul 'arshil adzim.. (Allah alone is sufficient for me. none has the right to be worshipped but He, in Him I put my trust, and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne)

Here is a beautiful dua, by a slave of Allah.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate,

Please forgive me for the sins I committed in the past
And those I will commit in the future.

Have mercy on all the Muslimeen,
And guide them.
Guide me O Allah,
And guide my parents,
My siblings, my friends,
My aunts and uncles,
My teachers and so forth.

O Allah,
I ask You to strengthen my iman and those around me.
I ask You to soften my heart
And to soften the hearts of the believers.

O Allah,
Forgive me for my shortcomings, for only You are perfect.

O Allah,
Please forgive me if I ever got too wrapped in a matter
That I didn’t have time to utter Your name.

O Allah,
I ask that You help me for I am weak
And will only grow stronger by Your strength,
So Allah please strengthen me
To fight Shaytaan and his whispers.

O Allah,
If I ever was too afraid
To stand up for Your deen
Because of what others would think
Then forgive me, for I was a fool for doing so.

O Allah,
Please strengthen the faith
Of the destitute Muslims around the world,
So they have hope to live.

O Allah,
Please be the light of my eyes, ears and heart.
Please be the light on the sides of me
And the light behind me
And the light in front of me.

O Allah,
Please forgive me
For all the foul words I spoke
Either out of ignorance or
Because I was trying to be “cool”.

O Allah,
Please forgive me
If I ever stopped to think about You,
Due to “other important things”

O Allah, Rab al-Alamin,
Forgive me,
Forgive me for everything.

O Allah, give victory to the Muslims!
O Allah, please let true Islam reign!
O Allah, please increase our knowledge of Your deen and this world.

O Allah,
Please help us all and guide us,
For You are everything to us.

O Allah,
I ask that You shed Your mercy
On all the Prophets (peace be upon them)
And on all the Angels (peace be upon them).
Lastly, I ask
Shed Your mercy
On the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him),
His family and companions.

Rabbana atina fid dunnya hasanah

Wa fil akhirati hasanah

Waqina azabannar..
